Spread out across 516 square miles, including Cass, Crow Wing and Morrison Counties, Brainerd Public Schools serves more nearly 6,500 students per year.
Brainerd Public Schools has six elementary schools, one middle school,
one high school, and three alternative programming sites.
In 2022, Lowell Elementary received its third National Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence award. All six of our elementary schools were awarded the National Blue Ribbon in 2014.
