After assuming the role of superintendent on July 1, 2022, Dr. Heidi Hahn made one of her primary goals the development of a new Strategic Plan for Brainerd Public Schools.
In January 2023, School Board members hired
PartnerED to lead the process, which will result in a document to address community values, district operations, board/superintendent relationships and operational expectations for the district. Having a strategic plan also serves state legal requirements.
